Sahn Protocol Implementation and Evaluation

Ad-hoc wireless networks are networks of cooperating users, with no reliance upon fixed infrastructure. Such networks are growing in popularity, as wireless communication hardware, both fixed and mobile, becomes more common and affordable. Much attention has been devoted to developing ad-hoc network systems, and many different strategies have been developed, for a variety of network scenarios. A number of groups have developed network architectures, test systems, and various system strategies for ad-hoc network operation, and related functionality. These all vary in their scope some are implementations of routing algorithms or Media Access Control strategies, some are fully-fledged network systems. This review aims to investigate some of the developed and proposed ad-hoc network implementations, and some related systems.
